I met a Surgical nurse who assists in replacement surgeries, She said something about Anterior something or other of the tibia or tibial plate? This was just last night.... I will look up lax patellar ligament. I have my Social Security hearing on the 25th of this month I have waited 2 1/2 years...
I haven't posted here in some time, I have resorted to wearing a hinged brace when walking on uneven surfaces and it has helped. Does anyone have an opinion as to what could be the cause of the movement in this video I have posted? Each and every time I had brought it up to the Dr. he tells me...
I was reading through your posts you have had some time of it also, like you stairs are a problem but not due to weakness mine is just the pain in the front lower knee cap area and the stiffness of the knee at those particular angles ... mostly mine feels unstable with pain thats why I ordered...
My brace came in today. OMFG I NEARLY FEEL LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!! oh it still snaps and cracks but I don't feel like its going to give way and I can walk a little brisker! I hope this continues to be the case until I can find a permanent fix
@Jordon6 My ROM has never been an issue as a matter of fact it may hyperextend just a little...I am not in PT as it only aggravates my symptoms. I do not know if you read previous comments but my last PT said I had good strength however on one of my first visits he had me do a stretching...
@Jamie thanks for the information, a lot of questions in my head as to why the Dr. would take on something outside of his specialty and not recommend someone else. I was referred by my primary Dr. originally for knee pain which originally was 2 tears in the meniscus that developed into the...
No choice at the moment, LTD requires doctors care .... now that I have an Appointment farther down the recovery period with the other Dr. that hopefully will change
@PegGar16 I have S.S. on appeal with a disability lawyer it was denied at initial and reconsideration level ... the Attorney is more then confident saying the State level already proved the case for him but yes its a waiting game.
I have to trust he is right
@Jamie I agree with your comment and have an appointment setup with Dr. Ginnetti March 17th, 3 days before going to the Surgeon who performed the surgery. It makes sense to me as Dr. Ginnetti is the only one of the 3 who gave me this reinforcement about it seeming loose at about the 6-7 month...
@Jamie I did this all online maybe a sit down face to face with a case worker is a better way to go. Lord knows I have nothing better to do at this point
@Jamie Lol .... yes I looked into it the Medicaid program, Well let me tell you a little story... My wife is only offered a single high deductible plan with her employer... I started to fill out the insurance form for medical and found I didn't qualify based on her income and my LTD, there were...
@Josephine looking through my notes Dr. Gianetti did go into a brief detail or explanation as to how it is hard for Surgeons to properly reattach the ligaments so this does make sense.
@Josephine I 100% agree with the ligament diagnosis as it feels unstable side to side and climbing stairs. I do not know about a faulty implant however it would go a great ways to them being able to give me some ideas, I have heard or read of the plastic insert not snapping together properly...
