    Dental Antibiotics post THR?

    I've heard conflicting advice re how long to take Amoxicillin or similar prior to dental work following THR. Some say only during first few months post op, others say before every dental appt for the rest of one's life. What's best practice? Thanks!

    2015 August Hot Shots - Are you having hip surgery in August?

    Just found this site...going in Thursday 8/27 for RTHR. Until 4 months ago I was a vigorous, athletic outdoors woman, now almost immobile. There isn't really a choice, so I really appreciate the encouragement here!
