    For what it’s worth, I also had my TKR done on June 27th and I am pretty much in the same boat you are. Two or three blocks walking is a good walk for me. But as long as I see progression each week, I’m pretty happy about it. And of course, some days are better than others.

    My advice would be to contact the person involved with coordinating your surgical procedure and find out who to talk to regards to the ice machine. All I know is that It is standard procedure for the Kaiser hospital that I will be having my surgery done at.
