PKR Patella femoral replacement fails after 1 year

I have two patellofemoral knee replacements. Right in Dec 15 and left in June 16 with left hip surgery in between. As a keen exercise enthusiast at 49 I now feel it's all over. The pain is just becoming too much particularly the left knee. There was talk of a TTO being done on the left...

Not done anything different as I can't do too much or walk far due to hip and problems with Sacroiliac joint. Only different thing is about 7lb weight gain as my walking is getting worse so I'm doing less exercise

Worried about relying on a stick. My muscles all feel very weak, I guess its because of having the two patellofemoral replacements and hip surgery all within 7 months and the ongoing arthritis pain at the bottom of my spine anyway I can walk without a stick in the house albeit very slowly and if...

    PKR Patello-Femoral Replacement

5½ weeks post op patellofemoral replacement. My knee has started clunking/catching every step I take. If I put my hand over my knee I can feel it just like it was before I had it done. Presently it doesn't hurt but it's on the outside of the knee joint, which is still numb. There was no clunking...

It all makes sense but I'm just worried about my strength returning. It is now 7 months since I had the first one done, I had hip surgery 3 months after that then 3 months later this left knee was done. Nothing seems strong now and I'm just worrying the longer I take to start the strengthening...

The new pain meds I have are dihydrocodeine 60mg and I am to take two twice a day 12 hours apart. They are prolonged release tablets. I can take paracetamol in between. I have to refer back to my GP for anything now.

My GP said he is writing to the consultant, and that I may get called for before the 8 week checkup , otherwise any further issues to get in touch. It doesn't seem so hot this morning, through the night as long as I didn't move the pain was duller. Next dihydrocodeine is due at 9.15, its too...

So today the physio sent me to my GP, apparently he looked straight at my knee and said I have an infection. So antibiotics for that and dihydrocodeine 60mg for the pain.
