So I have been home over a week now and feeling great :) just wanted to thank everyone for the nice messages. Looking forward to when I can sleep on my side though lol
Actually been told I can go home today :) just waiting on the discharge papers then home then my own bed! Lol. Thanks everyone for the nice messages xx
Ok so now it looks like I'm NOT out today, had a raised heart rate and they wanna do a scan tomorrow to make sure I haven't got a clot on my lungs. They don't think I have but better safe than sorry. Still gutted I'm not home yet though lol
Food is awful here lol, luckily family brought me a selection of goodies :D the fact I'm pretty much pain free compared to before the operation is amazing to me. The night before the operation was agony. Now it's like it was never there!
As I only have the use of one arm my stay is going to be a bit longer than usual, so I'd say at least another 2-3 days. Using a gutter frame to get about so I can rest my not useable arm on that for added support, had a few walks round the ward. I'm now just chilling in a chair :)
Yeah the Dr said I may have to go to rehab. Took me a hour just to get up this morning because of the pain. Roll on tomorrow so I can have my operation and hopefully be pain free!
Hey guys I will be having a left THR in a couple of days and I'm worried about dislocating my hip as I only have the use of my left arm and think getting in and out of bed as well as on and off the toilet will be a struggle for me as I cannot use my right hand/arm at all. Any advice will be much...
