    Hospital Pre Registration

Hi @donnag1108! When I registered for my TKR at the hospital where my surgeon performs his surgeries, I had my lab work done (including testing for MRSA) and met with the pre-admission nurse. The nurse took my weight, height and vitals. The prescriptions I currently take and how to take them...

    TKR Beachy in recovery<

My surgeon was very adamant that if my kneecap showed no damage during the TKR procedure, he was not going to place the patella button. He wanted to preserve as much of my kneecap as possible. After surgery he told me the kneecap looked great, no button. YAY! :yes!:

    November surgery scheduled!

Thank you! Since we have no children, they are our babies! They do indeed make great company. This time last year I had a partial meniscectomy on my right knee and being home with them on short term disability for 3 weeks one would have thought I hung the moon! :loveshwr: I’m sure they...
