One Left

Last surgery to go, left hip! Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. 3 months and 3 days since having the right hip done.
I am having a spinal block this time to hopefully reduce the chances of nausea. Makes me a tad more nervous worrying about waking up during the surgery, but I have been reassured by my husband that they can make me as sleepy as I want and that they are consistently watching me to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. Also, the stuff they give as the sedative prevents nausea.
This time, I will be so happy and relieved afterward just knowing I'll have it all done and over with!

Best of luck to you, can't wait to hear how you do. I know my left will be around the corner soon and knowing others do it in this time frame helps out.
