First of all, congrats on the new Grandson and glad that all is well with your daughter too.
I had to postpone my surgery one year earlier as I came down with shingles.
As for a cruise, I feel the same as Jamie. Give it at least six months. I had my surgery April 12 and had many complications. Now at 6 months plus I am good to go anywhere! You have to plan for the unexpected in this recovery. As you have seen so far there was another plan for you prior to surgery this time. Take your recovery one day at a time and you will be ready for a great trip once you have given yourself enough time to heal.

I love getting other points of view about our bum knees.

My grandson is progressing beautifully and and my daughter is exhausted, like new moms are. She can't stand not be with him at the NICU as much as possible. He might get to come home by Thanksgiving.

I still contemplating when to have my surgery. I have bad days and not so bad days. Arrgghhhh!!!
