Scared to death
Trust me, nutty, within a week you are going to be kicking yourself for not having done it sooner! And I bet that you are back on the golf course within a month. When I had mine done (almost two years ago), I was walking without the walker 6 days after surgery and released to go back to work...- susbrew

The Best Decision of my Life
I am 56 yeas old. I had my hip replacement done on September 11. I have had no pain medication since day 3. I used a walker for 6 days and have ben walking on my own since then.
