THR Pain while sleeping on THR 8 years later

Hi everyone. It’s been a while! Hoping someone can offer some advice. Been waking up in middle of night with sore hip (THR). No idea why…feels completely fine when walking running etc. had my annual check about 1 1/2 years ago and cleared “looks wonderful and will outlast you”. Thoughts etc?

@ilovefall Nice to hear from you - but sorry it's due to new pain.

Have you been doing any new activity lately? Night pain is often a result of over doing activity during the day. Any twisting, heavy lifting or pushing heavy furniture?

No, Nothing like that. I’ve been quite the opposite. Very sedentary due to the loss of my mother. However I do feel stiff and not as limber as a few months ago.

@ilovefall So very sorry for your loss!

If you have not been active that can result in stiffness and loss of range of motion. The good news is this doesn't happen when moving around during the day. For your own peace of mind you might want to get the hip x-rayed. Are you still in touch with your surgeon.
