On Jan 15th, 2024 I had a total knee replacement. From what I was told pain meds for the first few days would be my friend as well as ice therapy.
Here's the weird part..I do not have any pain! The last dose of Oxycodone was on Tuesday afternoon. I've been treating low-grade fever since Tuesday...
Yes it's been like a roller coaster. It spiked twice at 102 which my ortho doc wasn't too concerned about since it went back down within 20min of Tylenol. I went in to see him and he checked the wound and leg and gave me a thumbs up.
I had my procedure done on Jan 15 and all went well. Stift, achy, and keeping the pain to a manageable level.
I developed a slight 99.7 - 100.9 and am not too concerned since I read that it's common to have a fever after this op.
Has anyone else experienced this?
TRKR on Monday Jan 15th. Last dose of the eloquis I take will happen this evening. I was instructed to scrub down nightly with
Dyna-Hex 4 until the day of the procedure. Gatorade... not a big fan the day before the procedure and the morning of.. I imagine for the electrolyte value.
