@Cratchit Hiya - no I still use it on no resistance. Too scared to up it.
I have just been to the doctors and he has said it is pretty normal to have this pain at this stage but thinks I need some physio to help me through it. I have to go back for the paperwork on Friday and get booked in. He...
@Josephine
The pain I get is DRF2 and DRB1 but right on the line.
1. My pain when I walk is probably about 5. I have no pain while sitting or bending it.
2. I am just taking 2 x 500 Paracetamol in a morning. I did try to stop taking any pain relief but it seems to need it. I don't take any...
Hi
I had a TKR in Oct 2016 and am still in quite a bit of pain which I thought would have eased by now.
The pain is difficult to explain but I will try. It is mainly up the centre of the back of my knee and almost feels like a nerve pain whenever I take a step. It also hurts in the same place...

Hi
I am just over 15 weeks post TKR and have still got really bad pain at the back of my knee. The pain is very similar to having a pulled muscle and hurts when I am walking. It does tend to ease a little bit after I have walked for about 5 minutes but if I stop it comes back again.
I asked...
Hi
I am 14 weeks post RTKR and I too get pain when using the stairs. I can go up normally on a good day but they don't happen very often so I am usually going up one at a time. I haven't yet been able to come downstairs other than one at a time as the pain is terrible.
Good luck with your...
Hi
Glad to hear your feeling a bit better. We will get there in the end.
I managed to walk quite a bit tonight with no pain (well not in my operated knee) so that was a bonus. Obviously had the swelling afterwards but that's one of those things I have learnt to put up with.
Did you have your...
