Same here, the OS I saw at KU preferred post approach. Said chance of permanent nerve damage higher with anterior approach.

I also still have dysplasia and OA in my left hip. Funny thing was, I was always told that my left hip was the bad one but I really only ever had pain in the right one. Not to keen on having this one done any time soon[emoji6]

I completely agree. Pretty sure the " life" was not mentioned before surgery. I would have remembered that. I saw another surgeon before deciding on this particular OS and the only life long restrictions were no nose to knee ever with the posterior approach. That's why I was so shocked.

I agree with it being tiring. Went shopping today for 45 minutes and felt like I just ran a marathon. ;)
Less than 2 months ago, I could work 14 hours pretty much nonstop. Crazy.
