--Original right TKR on 1/11/19.
--Washout on 1/29/19 for a hematoma.
--A few months later, she had a fever and chills, and her knee became swollen and red.
--4/16/19 - Implant removed due to presumed infection. Antibiotic spacer and PICC line for 6 weeks with Vancomycin and was switched to Daptomycin due to kidney issues. (I can't remember whether the cultures grew any bacteria.)
--6/18/19 Revision TKR - needed wound vac due to persistent drainage.
-- 5/2020 - She started feeling pain in her thigh, but an X-ray, bone scan and blood test were normal.
--9/18/20 Aspiration as the pain moved from thigh to her knee.
--9/28/20 Final test results showed Staph Epi infection.
