    Had RTHR Sept. 21. Basically a breeze - for me. Surgeon mentioned it took an hour longer than planned, as when he got in there, he found the joint was locked - couldn't separate to do the surgery for a bit. Love my surgeon- found out he's the one the hospital folks refer their family members...

    Hi, I've been lurking for months - first post. 59 yo male, post LTKR Jan '10, and need BTHR. I have severe degenerative osteoarthritis, both hips and knees. Had the final pre-scheduling meeting with my OS this morning - he's been waiting for me to lose some weight, which I have. 53 overall...
