    Working hard to get IT band and knee swelling down.....using ice 3 times per day with elevation is helping. I am going to continue to push to get past discomfort and to the edge of pain! Not past that. I also do my PT 7 days per week. Got to get back on my road bike!! I appreciate the advice...

    My manipulation was on July 20, 2021. I will follow your guidance and ask for modalities to reduce swelling, plus I will take no pain meds before PT. Thanks much.

    Also did not mention the manipulation procedure I had during week 8! Did not seem to help much or last very long due to all the swelling and inflamation.....and that is getting better now.

    I have a beautiful scar, but just noticed a tiny amount of bleeding from what looks like pin pricks on the top of the knee. Used some neosporin and it looks like no big deal.

    I had my TKR (right knee) on June 8th. Tomorrow is my 13th week. Even now I have only a 90 degree flex. I work like crazy bending an pushing.....I have had IT band inflamation along with quad inflamation. Knee remains swollen and inflamed as well. No swelling when I wake up in the morning...
