I have severe osteo arthritis in my right hip. I had intermittent pain in my groin area for a year or so when I saw my doctor last winter. She said it was "just arthritis". As Fall approached, the pain increased and was daily. I again saw the doctor (got x-rayed) and put on Meloxicam (along with Arthritis strength Tylenol). Four weeks later (Friday, 12/1) I saw an orthopedic surgeon and I called to schedule the surgery on Monday. I found this forum while googling "pre-op exercises". I have high deductible insurance so hope to keep my expenses in 2018. Yes, I'm frugal AND I limp.
