Thanks to everyone for the replies. It helps to put this all in perspective. I have met other hip replacement graduates but just a few. Should I ask for an MRI?
Hello, my hip pain, limp and shooting pain down to the knee has been bothering me less than a year. The OS took one xray and declared that I have thin cartilage and am a candidate for THR. Does the surgeon read his own films or does he need a radiologist report? Would an MRI give better detail...- Kingbird
