    TKR Still grinding, pain, and swelling after 18 months!

    Not happy at all with TKR. Am no better off than pre surgery. Have severe grinding that can feel and even others can hear when rising from sitting position. Moderate pain associated with grinding. Constant pain and swelling and the knee is still feverish. Surgeon and second opinion doctor...

    Left knee. Total knee replacement February 20, 2019. Went through regular physical therapy until target range of motion was reached. Am at 130 degree plus range of motion now.

    Hi to all! I have struggled with my TKR. February 2019. I have good range of motion and good stability. Still a lot of pain which leads to it still being weak. Painful on stairs and uneven surfaces. Still pain at night a lot of swelling and now a lot of grinding on flexing of the joint...

    Welcome to the February Valentines' 2019 Knee Recovery Club

    TKR surgery 2/20/19 Recovery slow and painful lots of swelling! One thing finding hardest is that I am in a great deal of pain if i try to sit with knee bent for any period of time at all. Can't ride in a car for more than 20 minutes at a time..... Currently at 110 degrees range of motion...
