while 79 i am active and among other things work out at the Y 3 times a week. a fellow TKR saw me on the quad machine and mentioned his doctor said it was a no no.
i just queried my doctor and was told no more than 30...
after a couple of initial weeks i would like to forget things seem to be on track for my RTKR. thanks to the forum i am not overdoing PT, the Y, or home exercises. i am around 1 to 2 full extension after a bit of PT work and around 120 flex. i seem to be able to do most anything in my "normal"...
i seem to be recovering nicely. i have done PT twice a week and am now at once a week. no major rough stuff but some mild assist stretching and then measuring angles. after T i seem to measure around 1 or 2 degrees. my flex was 119 this week. it had been around 110 and took a jump. i can go up...
Thanks to all respondents. i have been pretty active prior to surgery and hope to be out windsurfing early this summer. finding the sweet spot as to rehab is no doubt difficult and of course varies with each situation. i will do my PT and exercises and hope to get back the the Y this Friday but...
