Hi, its only been 10 months since hubby had his 1st hip replaced and has been in pain the whole time. Our 1st consultant would not listen to us so after 8 months went private to see a 2nd consultant to review the pain. We are so pleased that we paid for this as after a xray and ultra sound scan...

Hi, Frist walk outside today and was surprised how quick hubby is walking and still very little pain. Still using the ice and elevating the leg. But looking good, not too sure on leg length but its hard to tell. When does the swelling stop on average as this is what is causing his pain??

THR Made it! Now a revision!

Hi, The info is straight from the suppliers and they should know what they are making. This liner is not suitable for max movement and has been designed for reduced movement. Ie less active people. Only found out when I checked the labels from hubby's notes back to the supplier. The suppliers...

THR Made it! Now a revision!

Hi All, There is a liner that sits inside the cup and there is a choice of up to four different ones. Each one allows further movement. There is a natural, +4 natural, +4 10 degrees face and lipped. These all affect the ROM. The one hubby has put in will only give you flexion extension of 151...

THR Made it! Now a revision!

Hi thanks, now just found out that the liner they put in won't give him the full movement and as such he will no longer be able to work. Not at all happy. They have put in a lipped liner which greatly reduces movement of the leg down. Flexion/extension of 151 degrees and abduction /adduction...
