I am a 44 year old mother of two grown and one almost grown children. I have been married for 24 years and a hospice nurse that has put my career on hold for the past five years because of chronic left knee pain. I am currently awaiting a TKR scheduled for June 9, 2014. I have high hopes that I will be able to get back to an active lifestyle after my recovery but most importantly I want to get back to work because my heart is into hospice.
