Thank you all for the warm welcome and information. Typed and crossed for Tuesday. Still need to get things done around here. Nerves are taking over my stomach. Perplexing pain prior to direct anterior hip replacement July 16
My date is for the 16th as well so we will be commiserating together. I can sympathize with the calf and thigh pain as well - have experienced a burning feeling off and on. Like you, had no idea it was my hip (thought it was my knee). Now severe osteoarthritis courtesy of a high dose of steroids...- Crittermommy

As usual, I wait until the last minute to get things done. Tuesday I am the recipient of my first new body part - a hip! Trying to get a ton of things done before I am laid up and can't do for myself. Thank God for my 3 big kids who are such a big help - I don't know what I would do without...- Crittermommy
