    Had my bilateral injections today. Was told not to expect any significant results for at least 2 weeks as this is when the steroid really starts to work. Let's see what happens but I definitely have some lingering hernia related things going on that might make things confused. We shall see...

    I will mention it again. Did you have an mri with contrast or via a 3t scanner with focus on your labrum? Torn or shredded labrums can cause wicked groin pain even if the rest of the joint is not end stage oa. Sent from my iPhone using BoneSmart Forum

    Torn labrums can produce huge pain even though the articular surfaces appear in good condition. You spoke of MRI but was it with contrast or a 3T scanner or just stock MRI without contrast? Unless its with contrast, or a 3T, and a good radiologist then its possible that a tear has been missed...
