I'm a new TKR victim/patient, at the "I wish I had not had this done" stage. Surgery was 2/26/14, after 30 plus year of a subluxing kneecap, three arthro's, increasing pain and inability to do much of anything at the end there..
I'm a natural klutz; I earned the distinction of being "red banded" by the nursing staff as a fall risk...the youngest on the floor! Good news: I've only fallen once more while at home. So far.
