Eleven months post operation I am doing well.
Playing golf twice a week, doing water aerobic exercises three days a week
and having fun.
The water work is exhilarating and I do lots of jumping and lunging.
There is almost no pain after.
Occasionally after lots of hard swinging and hill...
My doctor wants me on two aspirin a day for anticoagulant purposes as you said.
After testing my range of motion and leg strength I was approved to drive.
It looks as if my DW
Will have a copilot.
He would not allow any exercising etc. until my X-Ray on 5/18. The bone needs to grow together...
OK tomorrow I visit my surgeon.
I was put on toe touch for six weeks but I've been walking unaided on the sly with no pain.

My son is getting married this weekend in N. Texas, a distance of about 305 miles or six...

The Norco didn't work for me. A bad case of dry mouth and some strange dreaming was a deal breaker.
I got my new...
Hi Jaycey, all is cool. I had lots of trepidation prior to procedure but I've apparently moved on unscathed. My sleepy time doctor was Vietnamese so we bounded amazingly because I spent a year over there with the U.S. Army. Hearing welcome home and thanks for your service warmed the cockles of...
I am with you on the minimum PT exercises for THR. I gave the in house PT folks the brush off until I feel that I'm ready.
My DW is concerned about taking the Percoset around the clock. She is afraid of addiction. There's no pain currently.
I'm leaning toward your philosophy. Can you...
I have enjoyed reading everyone's contributions to this site. This was my first surgery since a tonsillectomy right after WW II. My San Antonio surgeon is young but efficient and productive. I was apprehensive prior to this surgery.
Your strong suggestion to elevate and ice are not normal...
