    THR Can Hip Replacement surgery be handled on ones own???

    I was wondering how much help is needed when/if I had total hip replacement surgery?? I'm 57, single with no kids or family, I've had a couple of friends that said they would stop to see if I needed anything but for the most part I would be on my own as I don't like asking anyone for anything...

I do warehouse work....lifting, bending, picking up boxes up to 65#, riding on stand up forklifts which a lot of times I have to be stepping up...
