Well, I learned last fall that I needed a TKR for my left knee. Since then, I've done pre-hab, lost some weight, tried to pretend that I could cancel the surgery and finally realized that I was spending waaaay too much time planning my life around my knee limitations rather than getting out and doing the stuff I really want to do. With that, I changed my attitude from being worried sick about the surgery to looking forward to life after this interruption. And tomorrow, I'll get my new knee. Nervous? Heck, yes. That's only natural. But I know I've made the best decision and I'm ready!! See you all on the post-op side!
