Here I am on the other side!! If I can figue out how to use this blasted borrowed tablet! I cannot read what I am typing.... grrr!!!!

All went very well. 7:30am surgery, woke about 10:30. To room right away. Got pain cocktail sorted well by one oclock. Threw up till phemnergan added. Worst pain or muscle cramps but oxycodone handles well.

Walked to toilet, took another walk down hall tonight walking right! Can take full weight no back pain ! This is not drugged up its twitchy keyboard! No more upchuck. I have been eating all afternoon and evening.

Now to get an escort to bathroom. Almost 3 quarts of water already. Have prune juice and prunes yet to go. Must pee will be back. Sooooo happy but cannot find smilies for dancing smile..

Now to look for TennisNut and SeaSiren !!I

@everyone bc I cant see who while I type on this trigger happy tanlet! Even tho verrrry stiff and sore due to nurse late w mes, I walked told bathroom smoothly! They give me new ice whenever inask so I now um. I now have 3 icepacks on sore n plac. Love it no begging just sweet nurses
Have drunk 6 oz of prune juice and rinsed mouth so may save prunes till breakfast earlier I lay w op leg kinda frog style and no groin painn wooooopphooooopk! Had to leave that as it was too funny. W o o h o o ! Wonder ifni can try cane tomorrow.its been practically hourly I, provehourly improvement here. Cramps seem to be goen§ but dont say it out loud! I am so happy and drugged up, gotta play it for all it's worth. ?.
Foodnhere not bad. Ordered dinner meal as I had been eating my own x
all afternoon. Hubby got chicken pie and I hadnthe bakednsweet potato , applesauce and steamed carrots. Had my own pear. We may have lotsogiggles out of me on this tabls

Sounds like you are doing wonderfully well ... and the nurses are treating you splendidly.
Solid food already, too! I think I had an odd menu of red Jello and vanilla ice cream my first
day. So glad you are pain free and not ice and meds free. Take care and post when you feel
up to it!

Thanks everybody! I have just read my early posts and think I should slow down the3 typing and let autocompletedo most of the awork! I ccan't see what I am typing, only the virtual keybd.
Last night was busy, something every hour. I did get a couple of nice naps tho.
OS just visited, I may shower whenever I wanL,,, closed with invisible things. He's off to make some other joint patient very happy now!
Peaches glad you found that umlaut! I dont think jello and ice cream would have done it for me. ?. Also bung me up, not good!
I believe I must drag out my breakfast now cos I am starving!

zauberflöte, Good news you can shower when you want. I think the first post op shower is so good you dont want to come out. Be careful though you will end up like a wrinkled prune if you stay in too long

Love some of your earlier posts with the hilly billy heroin as we call it kicking in. Oh how I remember my first posts! Actually I think we are all very fluent on our meds! Lol.
