    Well I never! My sister-in-law has been waiting to have her knee done for around 10 months and last I heard was waiting to have her pre-assessment. However, I learned last night that she had the op itself done last week!

    She had MIS and was in hospital a staggering THREE DAYS!! She got out last Saturday !! Oy vey!! That's what I call fast work. She is, apparently, pretty cheery.

    BTW, she is 71 and has been quite active.

    Heard from my SIL last night and she's doing absolutely great! She referred to her 'discomfort' as not too bad and was up and about already!

    I learned that she did only have a unicompartmental so that would account in part for her rapid recovery but it's still pretty amazing!
