worse off after my manipulation

I seem to recall a few people having used a Dynasplint but they might not be active members anymore. Reports, from my recollection, were mixed.

Well I got the Dynasplint.... had to wear it for 2 hours to start. It is set on #4 and will stay that way for three days. Tomorrow I wear for 4 hours, and Friday night I am suppose to try and sleep in it as it takes a max of 5 hours daily to be effective, so sleeping with it would free up daytime hours. If i can't sleep in it it will be such a challenge as it keeps leg bent and you can only hobble to the bathroom and such while it's on. I have felt so house bound since the original surgery anyway this just seems unfair. Yesterday I went to Wal Mart all alone and did my shopping for near 1&1/2 hours and wasn't at all tired after. So I will give this a earnest try... I will keep you all on top of how I am doing.
Thanks for all your input!

Have you still got your crutches, Duffy? Wouldn't it be better to use them?

Hey Duffy

I used two of them things. One for each knee. What a pain in the butt. They just didn't seem to work for me. I went and had a 2nd manipulation and that seem to do the trick. I was talking to my PT today about those things. We are in agreement that you may be able to achieve the same affect with exercise. Be creative.
