I just have to share because in the world of TKR recovery, every baby step is HUGE...

Today was my 2nd in-home physical therapy day...exercises went well and my ROM was much better all-around but the really exciting thing (well, I think it is...LOL), is that when she measured the circumference of my knee to check the swelling it had gone done 3/4" in two days! Now, that's HUGE, wouldn't you say?

Well, I hope that didn't sound too dumb to everyone else.

Absolutely NOT dumb!!! Swelling - in addition to causing pain - makes such a big difference in your ability to do the exercises that help you gain ROM. That kind of reduction in swelling is fantastic and it will help make things so much easier for you.

I'm celebrating right along with you!!!

Hi-- I KNOW how every new step forward with your knee is so WONDERFUL!! Yesterday---I had a moment after my home PT left our house that made me smile-LAST Wednesday I got home from the hospital---THIS week I was using two pound weights with leg lifts/other exercises plus riding my exercise bike with the peddles going around. Who would have thought?-----I felt like superwoman for a moment! Then my husband said---You amaze me! Priceless stuff that I always will remember!!!

I say-----brag on!! Way to go--every accomplishment--as all the wonderful Bonesmart folks say--is HUGE. Nancy

That IS huge! I am so proud of you! Keep up the great work. And no, it doesn't sound "dumb"!!

"Dumb" would be NOT bragging!!! You go, Girl!!! Just DON'T overdo now!!! ((:0)

I agree with Judi. We brag about everything on here!
