whooohooo.....less than 12 hours left and i get to see my os tomorrow. This time it's not for my knee tho....the time has finally come to lose this darn cast i've had on my arm since 5 days after tkr......you can be sure that even w/the forcast of freezing rain , i'll skate to the office on my bad knee if i have to, just to get back on w/my life!! i know i'll be able to re-hab better w/2 hands than one, even tho i'll have to re-hab the wrist too. a small victory i have tonite is that my scar is finallt starting to flatten out..i'vr been using vitamine e capsules, cut them open & massage as much i can.i really think that is working ... the itching is from the tissue around it and isn't that a sign of healing??? we took the twins 15 , boys)out to dinner tonight..they are going to miss those when i can cook again..i can stand on the knee leg, i'll have both hands, i'm starting to feel like it's not the end of the world or of me and that life may just go on.....can't wait to go shopping pain free and for a mani & pedi again....that is when i'll know i've made it! raise your juice glasses in the a.m. and cheer me on to the sound of that saw cutting though this 10# cast.....i'll def be setting the metal detectors off now!
strength, healing, love.....marcy

Marcy,
I am so happy for you! I can't imagine doing this with an arm in a cast. You are going to feel like a new woman.
