Need more info before we can answer your question. What kind of surgery are you referring to? Have you already had surgery on knees or hips?

The pain can come from a number of problems:
1. Overdoing it
2. Muscle spasms or pulled muscles
3. Compensation from injury causes you to walk funny then other areas cause pain. When we have an injury, our bodies naturally adjust our gait in walking thus causing other muscles to complain sometimes loudly.

Hope you get some answers and relief soon.

Shine, I have moved your post to its own thread. You'll be more likely to get specific answers to your question this way.

Are you anticipating having a knee replacement? It would help if you tell us a little more about your pain and your situation.

Hey Shine....You are now going to be on your feet all day long. You might get different pains in all places....Good Luck I hope you can get your surgery soon.....Post with any questions, we would all love to help ya !!!!!!!

I'm almost afraid to ask......what's a sun aide?

Come on guys.....you need to please stay on topic here.....

As far as the pain goes, each person reacts differently. One person might hurt all over or around the incision area. It varies. You could be lucky and not have hardly any pain at all. I was one of the very very lucky ones where the pain is concerned. Are you thinking you might have to have a knee replacement done or what?

Post and let us know what is going on. We are all here for you!

Take Care!

My pain was incision, muscle, and general around the knee. The actual joint pain was never there from day one. Knowing that the joint pain was gone and that the other pain would get better day by day was very encouraging. The first two weeks are no fun but it is well worth it.
