Recovery Club member.

Pre-op surgery team members are automatically recovery team members. If you were not on the pre-op list, please join your fellow travelers in this month’s post-op club by requesting your name and surgery date be added to the roster.

Being a team member will allow you to share your

support and encouragement;

vent, whine, and

shed some tears, if necessary; and have some

fun and laughs together. (Please do the above in one another’s recovery threads. And if you find your fun and laughs taking over an individual thread, toss them over to the Social Room to keep your recovery thread on target.)

Recovery is a long journey

I had TKR on R knee on December 5, 2017. I had Manipulation Under Anesthesia on January 12, 2018. Does that reset my recovery timeline? If not, I'd like to be added to the December 2017 group. If so, I guess I need to be added to the January 2018 group.

Thanks!

I had a Left TKR on December 12th almost two years after a right TKR in December 2015. I am progressing nicely but am comparing the knee recoveries.

Hi all! I am 9 weeks post op. Can’t believe I should be back at work in 3 weeks. I don’t feel ready yet, but not sure where I should be in my recovery I guess time will tell x

Hi everyone... I just found this forum and would like to be added. I had a left TKR on 12/7/17. Ten weeks out from that and things are going pretty darn well in my opinion!

Hello all,
I had my RTKR 11 days ago and am not using walker/cane/crutch as of 4 days ago. 120 degrees of rotatation and SLOWLY doing 5 minutes of non-tension stationary bike/day. Had left knee done 4.5 years ago and hope right comes out as well. Bill
