It has been a while since i have been back on this form, but First off I really want to say thanks for all the support you folks gave me along the way.

You guys it's going to get better. I wanted to warn you all about a hazard you should be aware of.
BE really carefull!!!!!!!
Don't get over confident with your new knee. GIVE IT TIME!! Six weeks after my surgury for tkr it felt so dam good I was working in my garage and slipped and hiperextended my new knee. Although no damage was done it sure did scare me and it set me back to square one. I also think because of the accident my recovery time was slower then it should of been. I'm 5 months Post Op and all is good. Take it slow. These things take 6mo to a year to heal all the way. Good luck to you all

Hi, DAB.....your post is a good reminder to folks in recovery to take it easy. You are so right that it takes time....even though your surgery incision heals, things are going on inside for quite some time. Glad the forum has been of benefit to you and that you're doing well.
