The surgeon gave me the go ahead to start waking after 3 months of not doing so. No physio offered, just get on with it. should be off crutches in a month he said! Well, just to remind you I had a riding acident and broke my NOF. it was plated and screwed. three weeks on and I am in a lot of pain and limping badly. using one crutch indoors. went to private physio who said I ought to have had daily rehab! she gave me some exercises to stretch the tendons and muscles and said go back on two crutches. supposed to go back to work next week but cant see how I will manage as I visit people at home to ***es their needs for rehab and equipment. dont know how long it will be before I am fully mobile and the pain gets you down doesit not? has anyone else had this situation?
