What a great outcome you are having! Your left replacement certainly gave you a fit and it has to be nice to be having a good right's recovery.

I’m so excited for you!!! :happydance:

Tell me again where you had this surgery? Different from the first one, correct?

My knee was done in a small town and it’s a mess. I didn’t know any better at the time.

I’m so glad you’re doing so well this time!

Bonerzers?! That's a classic. :heehee:

We will pass this on to Admin for their resources.

Glad your recovery is going so well and you have the flexibility that you do for returning to work. Sounds like you're on track to have a great holiday season and a promising new year. Best Wishes, DOCCUKE! :xmas-wave-smiley-emoticon:

Wow. Had to share this with you guys just finished my last pt at home got 125 degrees ROMand 5 degrees when trying to straighten my leg 100% when in the house walking without a cane or a walker. Not in any rush to walk outside as we just got 8" of snow got in and out of the car yesterday with out too much trouble, burned a little but no horrible. I was just a passenger.
But the other thing I wanted to tell you all is the pt young lady told me her father in law had a tkr that went horrible. So bad he is having it redone!! Guess who his surgeon was?? Dr Neil Dion!! The same hack that did my left knee!! Dude needs to be working in a meat market as abutcher!!
Fwiw anyone in nh considering a tkr do NOT use Dr Neil Dionne unless you really enjoy pain this is the third person I have heard of with horrible results from this kid!!

Oh wow! That's discouraging news. Bet you'd like to give him one of these :xmas-snowball-fight-smiley-emoticon:

Thankfully that experience is behind you! I'm happy for you that you found the new OS, Dr Melnic.
Stars are aligned...2025 should be a good year for you, DOCCUKE! :banana-santa:

I sincerely hope anyone getri actual or chips replacement first their research to make sure they are getting a good surgeon. When I got my left knee I pretty much assumed that this was not New technology & any surgeon that specializes in joint replacement would do a good job!! I got educated you need to choose carefully . I believe there are allot of surgeons out there that are simply not good at what they do. This is your body. It's not like getting a bad mechanic on your car. A bad surgeon can make your life miserable that said he'll teaimho Dr Chris Melnic 10 stars from me!!

I know two people who had Dr. Dion replace their knees & they had great outcomes.

To update my update, yesterday had my first outpatient PT & when trying to straighten my leg got to 3 degrees!! My left knee never got better than 5 degrees. I took my dogs for a walk around the block without a cane or walker & was only a little stiff after I now use my elliptical every morning to loosen up the knee for PT, I get up ,& do 5 minutes at 15 on the resistance. That is about halfway to max!! Waking up my quads!!we are driving down to ri tomorrow to take some of our grandkids to build a bear, then to cheesecake factory after. I am not cleared to drive yet but I think I will be pretty soon doing fantastic!!Merry Christmas all I got a new knee for Christmas!!
PEACE
