Hi again guys, missed you all!! Haven't caught up on you all yet on the billions of threads I have waiting t be read. I hope to check some, but not all, tonight, but it's 12.45am and I'm pretty tired.
Saw my OS last week, he is very pleased with the way things are going with my knee (not sure I am). He say's not to go for numbers but for function, I am at 109 ROM after a mere 11 months!!! He says he thinks it will be 2 years until I fully recover as I am just prone to the swelling through no fault of my own. He said that ice wouldn't help either now. He also said that I can discontinue PT now, though I am reluctant as I like to know my progress, I will miss my PT too, I feel part of the fixtures and fittings after 11 months!!So I go back for my yearly check up in January, he said he will do more x-rays then.
Everything feels OK though, no pain and walking mostly without a limp, though after a lot of walking it gets stiff and more swollen so that causes me to limp a bit. My shoulder causes me a lot of pain though, constantly heaving myself up from the sofa, office chair and out of the car. It's so painful at times I end up crying out. Feels like my muscles are cramping up. Do you think a TENS machine would help with that Jo?
Anyway, besides working for my friend still, I have been working on the stationary for my new business, restoring old photos. I start my refresher course on Photoshop on Thursday evenings. I am working on getting my daughters wedding album finished in time for Xmas (I do scrap booking). I also have various photos I want to work on for putting into frames for presents for some of my family. So between that, and appointments and housework etc.and socialising, I won't have a lot of time on the site for a while. My thoughts are with you always and when I have a minute I will check you all out. Take care my dear friends.
Love and miss you all lots. Talk soon. (((((HUGS))))) Sue
