YO! Gang,
I'm back in my room after my second "go-round". This will have to be it as I have run out of knees. The only difference this time has been a unit of blood and better pain management (so far) with some sort of pain-pump. I have a keepsake...a quarter-sized bone spur. After some discussion with the Doc and my wife, it looks like I may go to a re-hab hospital after my release Tues.
My ROM on my right knee was at 92, with self-induced legs raises, this morning before the latest surgery.
Wish me luck, I'm happy to be "On the Other Side".
Thanks...Rick

Great stuff, Rick. Glad to hear it been a bit better so far.

Great news Rick :)

But if you are really sad that you have run out of knees, I understand they do hips too...and shoulders too :)

Seriously, I was at work showing off my scar and I ran into a woman who calmly said "Oh yes, I had both knees replaced, and both hips, and one shoulder...and they are replacing the other shoulder next month." I think I stood there with my mouth hanging open :)

If I had been you Gretchendz I would have run out of the place screaming. Can you imagine all the pain she has been through? God, what a brave woman, she will most definitely be in my prayers tonight. Rowdy

Oh, sorry Rick, glad you are okay and doing better this time round. Didn't mean to forget you last post (above) just blown away by the woman who had already had five joints replaced and was waiting on the sixth. I know you are glad to have your surgery over with, as the say, now comes the hard part. Good luck. Rowdy
