Two Years Later

I am having RTKR in late October. Two years ago I had the left knee done and it has been great. However, lately I notice that my knee feels a little stiff. Has anyone else had this? Thanks.

Are you somewhat incapacitated because of the bad knee? I have been so lately and my operated knee very often feels stiff. But the ROM is still fine. Funny that.

Welcome Clara....Nice to know though that far out your knee is doing well, sorry about the stiffness ....I hope your next one goes just as well......Please keep us posted...Im only a lil over 5 mths so nice to see posts so far out thanks for that.....good luck to you.!!!!!!...

Clara, I'm about a year and a half out from one TKR and mine does get a little stiff if I am doing non-active things for a while....riding in a car, sitting at a computer, etc. Movement is good. It keeps all those juices flowing in there!! You'll probably feel better once the second knee gets done.

Thanks everyone for your reply. Because of the bad knee, I have put lots of pressure on the good knee - sounds crazy but true. I am incapicated and sit in my chair quite a bit. Glad I like to read but maybe exercise would help the stiff knee. I think my ROM is fine.
