I had my 2 week anniversary Wed of LTKR. So far it's going pretty well. Here are some of the highlights and lowlights.
1) week one was something I would just as soon forget. I kept seeing a bright light and was hoping I was being called home. Instead it was just a speeding train that kept running over me every time I looked up.
2) Got a callus on my thumb from hitting the morophine pump. I was like a contestant on Jeopardy
3) Week 2 things improved a lot. I knew that light was a train and was able to stagger to my feet before it got to me. I even managed to start jumping out of the way most of the time.
4) Got to begin out patient PT. They must take a class in how to torture subjects while smiling and making them feel great. I suggest Obamha send a group of PTs to Gitmo they will be much more effective then any waterboarding CIA agent. All kidding aside the PT is really helping
5) Still only 72 degrees on ROM due to all of the swelling from the extra work removing scar tissue. Need to get better with that.
I will keep you posted.
