I am only 34 years old, but have had 8 knee surgeries in the last 6 years. My surgeons ship me from one to the next telling me they can do nothing more for me. I've been told by the last three (amazingly always the best in the business...) that I need a knee replacement but they can't do it - I'm just too young. I've had 2 surgeries already this year, and "they" want to do it again. My last surgeon didn't believe my story until after surgery when he said he's never seen such severe damage in someone my age. I need a new knee but amazingly, just like everyone else, he doesn't do them in someone so young.
I understand the issue - they only last so long but - who wants to be so crippled up at 34?
Advise?
