tomorrow's surgery day!

I probably won't be online for a week or so..

I was told by the anesthesiologist who called me that I can wear my hearing aid, but not my glasses. I'm near-sighted and need my glasses to read lips. guess everyone will have to lean in close to say something to me. they better not have garlic in their scrambled eggs when they do that! :hehe: verboten glasses are for safety reasons?

I'm not nervous....YET but I will be the day of the surgery.

ergh..I hate the MRSA swab inside the nostrils! it really dries me out. bleh! and one more day of this soap and swab and I'm done with that. the things you have to prep at home!

I did my pre-op today. I don't have to do anything, except stop taking Advil/Aleve 5 days before. And not have an alcoholic beverage one day before. Other than that....not much to do. My date is 2 weeks from today. I had my pain pills filled today for post-surgery.

rootin' for you, lori! I always insisted that specs and hearing aids came to theatre with patients. And we'd put them in/on as soon as they started waking up so we could communicate with them in recovery.

Hi, Cotton....welcome to the forum. We were all a bit nervous before surgery...it's normal. Why don't you start a thread of your own about how you're feeling? You will get lots of support from our members!
