Joined the ODIC today. Sat up too long with foot up, but not high enough. Back in bed with plenty of elevation.

I hope the rest, ice and elevation soon work their trick.

It is already helping. This foot wants to be up all the time.
My back is getting tired of me being on it all the time.

Called my surgeon today, my pain is up, suspect by the way it feels so is the swelling.
Was told day three is the worst day for pain. Had forgotten to take a dose of pain meds, and will be upping Celebex for a few days, and staying on schedule. I have been elevating and icing regularly so will be keeping that up.

Elevate, elevate, elevate! I found after my foot surgery the pain was just too much when I wasn't elevating. Yes, day 3 was also the worst for me. Hope things are easing for you!
