posted a pic so you can put a face with my name.
IFFFFF you'd like an easy way to do that, here's a very simple way.

(you'll have to have a picture of yourself stored in your computer's picture file)

Go to tinypic.com
Click the "BROWSE" over near the right of the screen
It will automatically open your picture file.....
choose your favorite photo and double click on it
Click "UPLOAD NOW"
Copy the second URL.....(IMG Code for Forums and Message Boards)
Come back to this forum and "Paste" that URL on any thread...
Voila....You've shown us your mug!!

AMEN................and I might add that you dont look too bad for just having major surgery!! LOL......Maybe we should all put our pictures up so we can put a face to our names here. I actually have over 300 pictures of my TKR because they are writing an article in the Medical Centers News paper.
Respects,
Chuck

Well, you are a cutie, Pattipoo! You look so happy and chipper!

And Chuck, you are being written up?? Are you unique or unusual in some way?

And yes, AMEN!! We are tough and have come through a real battle. I'm so glad my injury was from sports. Maybe that means I will not need to have my other knee done ever! I sure hope not.

God bless,
Skeet

I've got pictures of my wife, son, and dogs. I only found a couple of me in uniform that are 3-4 yrs old....Right now I probably resemble more of a Neanderthal, nothing much to look at. Besides, it is a stretch of my computer skills to even log on much less upload download, etc.

come onnnnnnn!!!....I gave you a simple little 4 click method.

At least you owe me an AMEN!!!

(any of you nocturnal's can practice posting pictures when you can't sleep!)

Here is one of me--but luckily, my best side is to the camera, and I am wearing a mask! It is of me working the plate for the state baseball finals last year.

OK, I'll find a picture to post. Thus far, I don't have anything, but i'm sure I can find something. It is great to have faces to go with the names. You all look so healthy and strong... can't imagine any of you crying out in pain!

Skeet

Well, my self-image as a computer-savvy woman is shot to you know where - can't seem to make the upload work onto the forum. any suggestions?

Guys - if you are going to post pics, please make sure they don't exceed more than 21 kb - 640 pixels x480 pixels which is about 2-3 times this size

This is me

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE putting faces with names. I'm giving all of you cyber hugs!!
Miss Jo...you're cute as a button-I bet your patients loved it when you came into their room with that bright smile. All of the ortho nurses were great but one had a smile like yours and would light up the room....she'd always make me feel better.

Skeet, yes I am being written up. This is the first time my medical center used a Tribecular Mono Block implant from Zimmer. I had 2 Doctors and a rep. from Zimmer with me in the OR as well as a news crew, photographers and 2 reporters. When I looked at over 300 photos that they took during the operation, it explained why I was hurting soooooooooooooooo much, lol. I was awake during the operation, I had an epidural, a femoral pain catherter and listened to my MP3 player.....no recovery from anesthesia. The cutting, grinding and hammering was pretty cool, I tried to peek over the curtain but they covered my face with a warm blanket, lol. The operation was over at 9:15 am and I was having a cup of coffee at 12 noon. AMEN?

Oh....did I mention the next day is when I thought I got hit by a train? It took me 1 1/2 months to get over the shock and pain! Now, Im back to 90% normal!! Thanks be to God.

SuzieSW....if you are using the "tinypic.com" method, make sure you're copying the URL that's for forums and message boards.

good luck
