I had a TKR several years ago and started experiencing occasional mild discomfort in the total knee area about 6 weeks ago. Today I am having trouble walking and the pain is constant and about a level 4.

I don't exercise, I haven't done anything unusual or out of the ordinary.

Only change to lifestyle is working from home due to pandemic. 1. I work from my bed so there is no pressure on legs and no extensive sitting. I take frequent breaks during the day. 2. I am using the stairs a lot more than when I was working in the office.

Welcome to Bonesmart, @Gmom56. I bet you those added stair climbs are causing your discomfort. Have you called your doctor and gotten his/her opinion? It's best to do that if the pain keeps on.

Please tell us the exact dates of your surgery. Someone will add it to your signature for you. Knowing this date will help us to advise you better.
