I have a Left TKR scheduled for May 19. I had a successful partial on my right knee in 2016. I am a bit worried because one week ago my right leg went straight through a plastic window well about 2 feet down when I tripped on equipment in our backyard. My leg went straight down. It has been feeling tight and tingly ever since (not really painful, just uncomfortable and clunky). I see my surgeon in two days and will ask to have the right knee examined, too. Ugghh...

@Flutter1 Welcome to BoneSmart! Sounds like you had quite an accident. I do hope all is well. Please let us know what the surgeon says.

I'm scheduled for TKR in a few weeks, had a partial done about 7 or 8 years ago. Over the last week my partial knee has developed a sharp pain - not constant, but it's there. Like you, I'll ask my surgeon to look at it - after the right one is completed. I'm hoping it's just over compensation.

Wishing us the best Sandy11! I received cardiac approval today. My bp actually was almost two low 108/64 (thanks to Weight Watchers and extra workouts). This is great news after having scary high blood pressure in the past. So we will be monitoring my bp and cutting gradually cutting meds this week if necessary. Let's do this!

So my LTKR is in two days, on Wednesday. The partial replacement in my other knee is still feeling tight and uncomfortable, but the x-rays showed no damage to the implant itself. A few weeks ago , I became tangled up in yard equipment and somehow the right leg blasted through a plastic window- well cover and shot straight down a few feet. I also think... I know... I overdo my workouts (80 minutes total of cycling one day). My surgeon still thinks it is irritation around the implant causing the discomfort. Perhaps being forced to rest in bed a while will let it heal along with my new knee. If something more serious is revealed at a later date, then I will be ready for it!
This entire setback has me re-evaluating how rough I have been on my body at times. At almost 64, it is time to just look forward to hikes in the woods, dog walking, and gardening.
