My OA said no Celebrex or aspirin for seven days. I did not realize how much the Celebrex helped me until it was taken away.

Oh yes, BigRed.....it is a great anti-inflammant. Giving up these drugs before surgery is one of the hardest parts of The Big Wait. Hang in there!!!! You might try ice to calm some of the inflammation.

If you can't take the NASID, ask the doc for another pain med. Tramadol, for instance, is a mild narcotic and should help with your pain for that week.

Yep, Tramadol worked for me. 2 of those and I was just fine. Don't know if it helped with the inflamation, but sure helped with the pain prior to surgery.
