I Am A 50 Year Old Female And Had My Left Arthritic Hip Replaced In Late February After 5 Years Of Pain And Thinking It Was My Back. I Am Now 9 Weeks Out And Began Feeling The Groin Pain From The Right Arthritic Hip At About 5 Weeks Out. I Will Go Back To The Doctor In Early July. My Question Is How Long Will I Have To Wait For The Right Hip To Be Replaced If The Pain Continues To Worsen? Is That Partially Up To Me? I Have Started Pool Therapy And The Stationary Bike Routine As Of Today For The Left Hip. I Know I Have A Very Weak Left Leg That Needs To Be Strenghthened Before I Can Do Anything. Thanks.

Usual safe time period between surgeries is not less than 6 weeks so I would suggest that any time you feel up to it will be good, westexas. If you are sure it's right, I wouldn't hang around. Pain will only get worse and make your leg weaker.

Let's know how you get on.

I Appreciate Your Feedback. I Will Not Hesitate To Talk With The Doctor In July And He Will Definetly Be On The Same Page. Who Wants To Go Through The Same Pain That I Suffered For 5 Years Not Knowing It Was Ever My Hip. Thanks...westexas
